The Woodshed Lodge was constructed in 1904 and has served as a retreat for Jay Peak visitors since the 1950’s. The Ritz, we are not. But if you appreciate authentically rustic character, a laid back family vibe, and hearty, responsibly sourced food, we just might be the place for you!
In addition to our upstairs room all guests have access to the lodge dining room and our two common area living rooms. The dining room is home to our cozy wood stove, and all guests are welcome to use the hot plate with pot, toaster oven, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and freezer as well as the microwave. The dining room also has a dart board, or set up at one of the tables with one of our board games. The downstairs living room features a smart TV, books and games and comfortable seating for five. Our upstairs common area living room has more books and games and comfortable seating for four.
Unwind in our backyard haven! Soak in the bubbling hot tub (seats six) after a day of adventure, roast marshmallows around a crackling fire in our solo stove, or fuel up for fun at our oversized picnic table. Relax by the calming pond and watch the fish jump, or challenge your crew to a game of outdoor giant Jenga, frisbee golf, cornhole, badminton, or bocce ball. We have everything you need for a relaxing afternoon or an exciting family competition!
